Birth is one of my favorite things to document. The mothers are usually past brides and there is somethings so rewarding about documenting the follow up chapters to their love story. This mama gave birth to her 3rd baby at home, in a birthing tub. A whole new perspective is added when there are siblings present. I was constantly distracted by the amazement and wonder Ruby’s big brother displayed, never seeing a child more instantly protective than Leo. That little boy is beyond smart and nurturing. Ruby’s beautiful sister Audrey, was more hesitant of the chaos but came around in her own time. The sleeper and piggy tails just melted me. Kylie, somehow made birth seem easy and graceful. The beauty in new life is undeniable, if you have the chance to participate in a live birth I highly recommend it. A reset button for your perspective. Mothers muse me.
