Church and State wedding / Salt lake city

Dan + Lacey

I have always wanted to shoot at Church and state in Downtown SLC. So when Lacey and Dan reached out, I knew it was going to be a colorful and fun wedding. Then Lacey hit me with her wedding dress, I about died. It’s not everyday you get a periwinkle ruffled piece of art to wear by designer Roberts Wood. Lacey gave me a lot of freedom to create and I even brought teddy bear sun flowers from my home garden. Their wedding day began at the grand america with room service and some morning coffee. Then off to the ceremony we went. Sweet Afton floral sprinkled her magic around the chapel and brought so much joy to the space. While shooting portraits, we were follow by two stray black cats who we couldn’t get enough of. Dinner was perfection with cocktails and tacos and the dance party did not disappoint. Ending their evening as stoop kids with a sparkler send off. I hope you enjoy this colorful story of love.
