I seem to be a regular visitor around harvest time. I like to think my ability to romanticize the most chaotic of situations is greatly valued. I love being able to exist in another’s world, observing the patterns of home during harvest. At sunrise the kitchen begins to buzz with electricity. The espresso machine wakes up and the walkie talkies are fully charged. Tiny pitter pattering feet running down the hallway transition to work boots stomping out the door
