Joe + Amelia

Every friendship group should have a Joe and Amelia. Creative, open minded and alway seeking adventure.

They had a non traditional wedding at Boxcar studios where Joe has his film lab. A place our friends have many gatherings but I dare say, this is the most special one yet. The Taco truck outside beckoning people to the asphalt parking lot, Gelato for dessert. Like the collection of beautiful, lost or forgotten treasures that fill boxcar. The tables are filled with an assortment of different people from their lives. Sprinkle in some dogs and it became a perfect depiction of who they are as a couple.

Instead of an aisle and traditional I dos, they stood side by side with their family. Everyone sharing what makes them special together. It was honest, loving and so personal to them. Joe had a city scooter accident just before the wedding and busted his hip. Between the wheel chair and crown royal padded crutches he danced as if it never happened. Amelia was radiant and went with the flow (like always) She didn’t stress about a timeline, since there wasn’t much of one.
