Full circle. Thats what this wedding felt like for me. First time meeting Morgan was for a photoshoot after a break up. We documented the hurt but empowered the woman. Years later, I witnessed tears again. But these were lightning bolts illuminating her cheeks as Kenan spoke of his endless awe and secret spaces soulmates go to hide.

Morgan and Kenan are like street tacos and salty margs. Wonderful solo but better together. Morgan is a talented photographer and has been planning this party since the pandemic. She’s creative, cool and has a reputation of bad ass beauty to maintain. She struggled to put a title or theme to her day so, I will ramble off all the inspiration I took. The following are things that came out of my mouth through out the day.

Extra love, extra large hearts, an abundance of sparkle and saucy flames burning into the night. The custom made gown, the insane veil, the puppies, the champagne tower…don’t even get me going on the florals. Our patron saint Adam Driver truly blessed this party.

The day was a grey day. The rain smacked you in the face like a hand adorned with big ass rings, winter whispering she is here. It was as subtle as a real housewives drunken catfight. But the moment you walked inside, you were emerged in their love. It was warm, colorful and beckoned you in… You were special and loved.
