Over the last several years, I noticed Mackenzie and Alan around at local events or gatherings. Low key, admiring mackenzies unapologetic style and effortlessly extra vibe. When she reached out about her wedding it felt fated. So there I was, nervous about meeting them, until I was greeted with the warmest of smiles and openest of arms. From there on, I was washed away in colorful whimsy, surrounded by a stunning desert landscape.

Southern Utah or zions national park is a perfect backdrop, throw in burst of color, a seafoam gown, red carpet and unworldly nails by val aka gaudy octopus. and you have a whimsical desert wedding. The Ceremony was one of my favorites I have ever witnessed. It began by everyone closing their eyes and being lead in guided meditation. They spoke of magic places, an abundance of love and safety. It was so inviting, I had to resist the urge to join in.
