DIANA + ALEX
These childhood sweethearts wanted a romantic but modern hacienda wedding, I cannot imagine a more beautiful venue than Hacienda San Carlos. Originally a sugar cane factory, it’s now a labyrinth of vines overtop the structural bones. They had their ceremony complete with mass in a hidden chapel, tucked behind a curtain of greenery. I loved wandering the property and discovering all the beautiful corners and tunnels. When Diana entered to walk down the aisle, the light just puddled around her and people began to gasp. She was stunning, they are both stunning and the ceremony was beautiful. Unfortunately, I do not speak a lick of spanish, meaning I didn’t understand the priest but I really enjoyed taking my cues from their body language and documenting that way. All the traditional festivities were had, including a cart of tequila shots that would make rounds on the dancefloor. The celebration, drinks and dancing continued until 3 am, even if our groom did not.
D+A, my beauties, such an honor to document your love/ xxB
