As I rode the ferry to Vashon island, I was instantly moved by the lush green tree covered roads ahead. The roadsides littered with wildflowers clinging to drops of rain. Farm stands and chilly beaches lead the way to the lodges. I love the wildness of unkept fields and the threat of a summer storm.

Watching Sarah and James together is special. They connect so deeply and radiate their loyalty, passion and admiration for each other. The family bibles from the 1700s have been passed down and are held sacred. Holding something so special to Sarahs family hit different. I though about the times of pain or joy that this book was opened for comfort and guidance. It is a beacon and a foundation for their relationship.
