Salt lake city / couples session

Annie + Christian

A few months ago Annie proposed to Christian, he said yes ( and he would be a damn fool to refuse her) They chose to privately elope at their friends home, only parents and grandparents were invited. That day is something they have kept just for them.

Annie is one of my favorite faces, she has an air about her and we seem to find similar wave lengths. She wanted to do a boudoir before our couples session and I have never been someone to tell a woman no. Nudity is a touchy subject for so many. I am sensitive to the topic and understanding of backgrounds that place a negative connotation to the female form, but that doesn’t mean I see things the same way. It’s not about hyper sexualizing the natural form, it is a true appreciation for the bends and flows of our bodies. Being comfortable in your skin is a gift. A sense of connection, freedom …. power. I hope you can view these with the reverence they deserve. I wont apologize for seeing the beauty in it all.

This session was healing for me. Its easy to get wrapped up in timelines and I promised myself I would breathe and slow down. In a span of a couple hours we got, rain, hail, snow, and sunshine. Adjusting with each shift in atmosphere.

Annie and Christian. thank you for trusting me, thank you for being such warm souls. I see you
